Lesson Plans on Responsibility, Rights and Identity Project
Below are 16 lesson plans designed to gradually develop students’ understandzing of the concepts of identity, rights and responsibilities within a global context.
Targeted at key stage 3, the cross-cutting themes and flexible nature of these lesson plans make them suitable for use within Geography, Citizenship and PSHE curriculums. Activities emphasise group discussion, student-led research and creative thinking, therefore helping students to develop critical skills in forming and expressing opinions. Most of all the lessons were developed to be a fun and engaging way of thinking about issues that affect all of us everyday of our lives.
